To get started using 1010Talk VoIP, simply connect your 1010Talk VoIP router to your home network, connect a normal analog telephone, and start enjoying the best quality, lowest cost phone service available.

For VoIP Plans (except for 1010Talk Softphone)

Installation Instructions

What you’ll need:

  • •Broadband Internet connection (DSL or Cable Modem)

  • •1010Talk VoIP router (shipped when you order service from 1010Talk)

  • •Normal analog telephone

Setup Instructions:

Step 1:

Using an ethernet cable, connect the “Wan” port of your 1010Talk VoIP router to your DSL or Cable modem

Step 2:

Using an ethernet cable, connect your PC to the “Lan” port of your 1010Talk VoIP router

Step 3:

Plug in the VoIP router.

Step 4:

 Reboot your DSL or Cable modem

Step 5:

Connect your telephone to the “Phone 1” port on the 1010Talk router.

 

For Softphone Plan:

What you’ll need:

  • •A Computer

  • •The 1010Talk Softphone USB Stick (shipped to you when you order service from 1010Talk)

Setup Instructions:

Step 1:

Plug 1010Talk USB stick into USB Port on Computer

Step 2:

Click on 1010Talk Softphone icon that appears on your desktop and follow the guided set up from there
